去痘印法寶水楊酸 | Salicylic Acid Products for Acne Scars

I haven't written here for a few months, and got secret reader urging me to keep updating :P
So let me start with a short post (hopefully) about the two products I use to deal with my acne scars.


They are not new products, yet affordable and effective, so my tone of description below might be a little dull.

In the cover photo above, I am just comparing a used up product with a relatively newly opened one, hence there is color variation.

The formula is thin transparent gel-like. The roller design makes application easy and convenient. I apply this after essence, before cream or lotion on a daily basis.

I feel it helps speeding up the healing process of acne scars on my face. The texture is thin so that it is used up quite quickly, and it does not mess up my makeup. Luckily the price is fair (original price HK$99, around HK$75 when discounted) so I can repurchase and stock up whenever I spot a discount in local drugstore chain.

The products pictured above are the Nth and N+1th I've used. I enjoy using this very much and can't imagine living without it!

OLAY Daily Renewal Cream (50g)
玉蘭油/歐蕾 活膚菁華霜

This cream's texture is quite rich so it is not very suitable for summer. A friend of mine got oily skin and does not like this cream as much as the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, which contains salicylic acid too. I usually apply a thin layer in dry weathers, say late autumn, winter and early spring, after a lighter texture moisturizing cream at night.

I mainly use this together with the Garnier roller to double up the skin renewal power of clearing acne scars. I don't put this cream and mandelic acid in the same routine as it creates too much irritation. So either use this cream with Garnier roller, or mandelic acid products on the same night. Continuously using renewal cream with garnier roller for a few days, the effect is really good.

The price is around HK$60-70, very affordable and takes a long time to use up a jar.

I got lots more new products purchased in the past few months unblogged. Wait till I photograph them... makeup products are so hard to get the colors and texture show up correctly in photos! ARRRRRR!
